I am looking to purchase this laptop but I have heard bad things about its 5400 rpm mechanical drive and was wondering (I can't figure it out) if I can put an SSD in here and if so, would it have to be mSata or if regular sized how thick can I get away with???

regular size SATA drives

SSD are 7mm thick

the bay will fit the SSD since the original HDD is 9mm thick

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

Hmm maybe it does? I'm just purely going off of second-hand information, however.
