I've been seeing the 2014 Steam sale news for like a month now.

 

Is it just a little example of what's to come, or is it supposed to be updated?

The steam sale hasn't changed

but the the stuff farther down the page sometimes does.

And the featured videos seems to work.

Stock coolers - The sound of bare minimum
