Does Amazon ship any motherboard to Australia?!

melias24

Hi, sorry for being an annoyance but i still dont understand... i've looked and they say they ship international but when i add it to cart it adds it to a different cart because it cant be shipped to Australia.

I dont understand want you mean by different cart. do you mean a different shipment. If so that's normal.

If you choose amazon as the seller they will ship to Oz.

Have noticed certain z97 boards here in Oz aren't commonly available, or are 2x retail (asus z97-WS for example)

Yes, i mean my first cart with everything but the motherboard is called 'shipment 1 of 2' and then the motherboard is in shipment 2 of 2' but on shipment 2 of 2 with my motherboard there is no international shipping option.

It's not up to amazon if they'll ship certain parts to Australia, it's up to the manufacturer.

For example, intel will not let amazon to ship their cpu's to Australia because it hurts the local resellers in Australia.

Sounds like you chose Amazon to ship, make sure you pick another seller that will ship to Oz.

You can buy some CPU's from Amazon but it is scarce at best.

example: Intel Pentium Processor G3258 is only $85AUD. not bad price. As local stock is apparently hard to find.

Yeah that was a bad example but that's the reason why the motherboard isn't able to be shipped, asus won't allow it.

Honestly I wouldn't bother buying from amazon unless it was an amazing deal, saving $30 on a cpu isn't worth it if it shows up doa or you have to pay shipping back to the U.S. for rma, they don't pay shipping.

Amazon returns are easy. I have done one before. For a MIC i bought that was DOA. I contacted them and they shipped it before I shipped the dead one back.

Easiest return I have ever done.

But yeah, I am not going to buy from amazon just to save $10-$20. I would just get it locally.
