I've never owned or used a mechanical keyboard.

Well then, before you buy one you should test out each key switch which can definitely make an impact on your preference and how it'd might correspond to what you would like to type on as your daily driver.

Well you have some options , for example if you like typing / gaming and low noise , you will like the browns , If you like the clicking noise you will like the noise of the blues , then you also have red , reds are like typing on water and without the sound of the blues .

You have some options for each - Blues you have the Corsair K70 , Browns you have the G710+ and for blues you also have the Corsair K70 / DuckyShine 3

But I really recomend going to a local shop and trying them out

Where or how can I test each key?

Well you could go to a local electronics store and check out whether the sell mechanical merchandise. You could order a multi-mechanical keyswitch which is basically a single mechanical switch from Cherry's line-up; one blue, red, black and brown. I think it costs under $20 dollars but I cannot remember.

i have 70k blue switches and i love it to death!

I was asking MrFub but the K70 is indefinitely a great looking mechanical keyboard, I kinda wish I bought one in Blues but I bought greens on the CM storm quickfire stealth.
