No it's pointless might as well use standard display ports. Not to mention it wont even pick up the card.

I'll repeat myself It's pointless that is why pcie x16 slots were created. To run large cards like this not put them in a tiny slot that won't be able to make contact with even half of the pins.

um that`s not an nvidia card and nvidia cards have actually got drivers that are customised for 1x use it makes the cpu kinda "Zip" the transferfiles and the gpu to "unzip" them so the performance loss will not be that great
