need vpn help - china

So hello guys,

I happen to be in china right now (and the next 6 weeks) and i cant access many websites etc.

With me i have an SGS4 with the hotspot shield app which won't connect anymore and a Linux Mint Netbook with a vpn client thingy called KVpnc.

Problems are, i cant download other vpn apps for my phone cause google is blocked and the play store is kinda from google ^^

Also i cant access a vpn from my netbook because i can't get any connection details cause you guessed it, everything is blocked.

Some help maybe? ^^

EDIT: oh yeah, i have the uk 1 .ovpn file ftom vpnbook and i can load it into KVpnc but i need the new username/password if anyone can get them for me? on vpnbook.com or so.

Its two sided ^^

On the one hand its pretty cool to see all these cultural differences and all but on the other hand its kinda shocking too.

People here are very friendly but also kinda weird to europeans they always take pictures and/or stare at you

I'm here because i'm doing an internship for my apprenticeship. But actually i dont really have to do it, its just for fun and getting experience

Oh I know the pictures feeling. I went to Universal Studios here in Japan and had close to 300 high school/ college girls wanting to take pictures with me. I felt like an attraction. I didn't complain though.
