Is Guild Wars 2 Good?

I was just wondering if anyone here plays guild wars 2? I bought it when it first came out, but played it on a laptop at 15 fps so it was a horrible experience so I stopped. I totally forgot I owned it and now I have a computer that can run this beautiful game. Is this game still popular? I know I enjoyed reading about the game and watching videos, but can anyone confirm that it's worth half of a day to download the game and start playing again?

it is a great game but imo the original Guild Wars is better

I LOVE GW2 its an awesome mmo (still my favorite of all time) and is really action packed. Not many people get on it anymore but I still love it.

GW2 is a pretty good game, I've spent around 3k - 4k hours playing the game in the past. The latest patches have been pretty "meh" and lacking in content in my opinion but that's because Anet sucks at allocating the money they earn from the game..... 

 

I rarely play now however I'm pretty set in the game(filthy rich compared to most players around 9k+ gold).

It was extremely overhyped. Little substance in it. It couldn't hold my interest for half a week, went and played The Secret World instead, bought lifetime subscription for $250 which I still don't regret even after it went buy to play, and now have over 3000 hours spent in it.
