Peugeot Hydraulic car - the future zero carbon car of the future

source....... http://www.extremetech.com/extreme/146450-peugeot-unveils-hydraulic-air-hybrid-80-mpg-car

Having a car this good, at a cost of £16,000 sterling maybe $28,000 american, running at 81 MPG and a reported 118 MPG by 2020 is the future of car manufacturing.

As a response to the tesla spot you talked about on this weeks wan show i was urged to put this on the forums.

Accumulators are very heavy because there is so much hydraulic fluid. Of all possible hybrid systems I've seen so far including batteries, pneumatic and even flywheels, this is by some margin the most stupid.

I cannot be held responsible for any bad advice given.

I've no idea why the world is afraid of 3D-printed guns when clearly 3D-printed crossbows would be more practical for now.

My rig: The StealthRay. Plans for a newer, better version of its mufflers are already being made.

Hydrolic seems like a decent idea, along with the 100+ MPG. However what I see in the pic is a lot more likely a truck based on the DRW (not as if that is a bad thing. 100MPG there would be life changing for a lot of companies).

I still prefer diesel.

I still do also, as strange as that is being that the state won't let me drive. :(

i think the only down side to this technology is if you have a side-on collision and the tank explodes, with a big enough bang that would instantly kill. The car would be quite heavy but it is a lot more greener than disposing of batteries and a lot cheaper.
