What am I doing wrong?

alby800
Go to solution Solved by alby800,

We (me and @athesean1, my friend) rode around to the shop and bought a 16gb usb, we did the same thing and it didn't work, so I downloaded rufus and that said it worked. When we finished building we tried to use the usb but we were having problems with it so then genius @athesean1 (he told me to say that) said we should try burning it on to a disk and trying that, so we did. . . AND IT WORKED now we are just installing some games/drivers and are about to play it now.

So I need to make a bootable USB drive for Windows 8.1 PRO so I can install it onto my brand spanking new pc. I purchased the key off G2A and used the shield thing. I have been using this guide:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f4e4HujCeg8

and @be4rgryllz helped me as well.

Now the bit that I am confused about is putting it onto the usb, I always follow the guide, the usb that I have is 4GB but the progress bar gets to %99 and just says that it failed or something. I have formatted the drive and everything.

PLEASE HELP MEH!!!!!!!!! thanks in advance

The problem with that is that it is 1:30 am here and I am only 14 so it is not like I can just drive out and get it lol. Also from what I have heard 4 GB is enough but I guess it is not for 8.1 pro

4gb is enough for Win7 (file being about 3.7Gb).
