New PC

After having a bit of luck lately I attempted the scratch card, I know I know, I just tried it and won a bit... £3,000 yesterday, so I thought I'd spend a bit of money on a new pc. You may notice there's no GPU in this build that's because I'm going to stick with my 660 SLI configuration until some more news comes about the 700 series and I can possibly go and buy a 780/770. My current pc will go my best mate for some money :P. He's already got a 7770 though so he can put that in.

I've also decided to go along and redesign my room to fit my new pc in it. I'm playing around with some modeling softwares right now, actually seeing if SolidWorks will install...

Update: changed some parts, got a 780 all done :D

I am not sure what you are trying to pull here, but thats @SoloTwo's rig

Furthere more your CPU will not fit in that motherboard.

Dear Forum Users

 

I'd like to formally apologise to all the members of this forum, especially to SoloTwo for "borrowing" his picture and claiming it as mine. You might be wondering why I did this? Basically I wanted to be "one of the guys", where as I've learnt it's not all about the kit you have on this forum. It's not "oh I have this and I get so and so", or "I have this because mines better", It's all about helping people in this community, encouraging and commenting where necessary to aid each other. Protecting the gamers name!

Good to see you apologising, but still "why" ?

I don't think that anybody would laugh at you if you have a Athlon x2 and 1GB of DDR1 RAM, this forum isn't here to compare the size of your penis. I too do not have the greatest components and here are a lot of builds where I go "Man, I'd wish I could afford to do that", but still you don't see me doing it.

I don't know, how old you are. And I also do think, that this was an act of pure immaturity, but then again you had the guts to apoligies, something not a lot of people do, so.

No hard feelings, even though I'm not involved in it. ;)
