Thinking of getting a Lenovo ThinkPad X240

I do have a few questions that I am having a hard time finding out though..

 

The main one would be for my config I should have 2 m2 slots open for m2 ssds to upgrade in the future.... right?  But I don't see them listed on there.. I saw them listed on the 500gb / i5 default model .. but you can't switch that to an ssd so that is a silly model.

 

(I know I didn't buy office in there .. I can get office for cheaper on Amazon) 

 

The other question would be if there is another laptop that would be better for college

 

 

 

And this is really the only way I can think of showing what I was thinking of getting for my set up... kind of crude.. but oh well it works... the bloody student discount is only $20 >.>
