Why are people so confused by the term 2k? 1920 =~2 thousand pixels, hence 2k.

2560 (i think it was) =~ 2.5k. 1440p=2.5k

3840 =~ 4k

Specs: 4790k | Asus Z-97 Pro Wifi | MX100 512GB SSD | NZXT H440 Plastidipped Black | Dark Rock 3 CPU Cooler | MSI 290x Lightning | EVGA 850 G2 | 3x Noctua Industrial NF-F12's

Bought a powermac G5, expect a mod log sometime in 2015

Corsair is overrated, and Anime is ruined by the people who watch it

actually it this

2160p is 2x1080 tall and 2x1920 wide 2x2=4x1080p

720p is called HD

1080p is called Full HD

1440p is called QHD (which stands for QUAD HD as in 4xHD)

2160p is called UHD or QFHD

Because GPU mining is dead, or at least not profitable anymore. No Crossfire tends to scale better than SLI with more than 2 cards.

why is it "dead"? What do u mean it's not profitable anymore?

what if I get the 4 gb version on the r9 290x?

The amount of electrical bills you need to pay to earn one bitcoin will not be offset

Aren't you suppose to keep them running?

once you stop mining you lose the chance of getting the coins

in all serious note

Graphics cards are for gaming use not for mining

There's no other option besides the 4GB version. I never heard of a 2gb or 6gb version of the r9 290

the 290X only comes in 4GB or 8GB versions

but the 290x 8GB is the dumbest product

6GB is crazy who the hell need 8GB of VRAM?

and it cost as much as a Titan Black
