Asus 5 way optimization. i5 4690k
So i just installed my motherboard and cpu. I have the asus z97-A and the i5 4690k and now i want to overclock with asus 5 way optimization. But when i try to start it, it tells me to get the mei drivers before running asus 5 way optimization. I have no idea what mei drivers are. I googled it and downloaded some mei drivers but they didnt want to install. It told me that i didnt meet the requirments.
so I tried to start asus 5 way optimization anyway and overclock with it but when it was on TPU it just shut down my computer and skiped that part all together. So i was just wondering if you anyone of you guys know anything about Mei drivers and asus 5 way optimization. And now it looks like my cpu got downclocked so it is at 3.4ghz now.. I have noticed that as soon as i get up to 3.5ghz wich is the stock speed btw i get a blue screen. (
They are management engine interface drivers. I have taken this link directly from Z97-A page on Asus product page. Download the drivers from here and install it.
