Wait how is it terrible? Alongside Western Digital, Seagate is also a perfectly reliable brand. Where I live, Seagate rules. I use their HDDs and other stuff and never really encountered a problem. Please don't fanboy here.

Seagate and WD are reliable brands but Seagate is usually a little cheaper. Just choose the one which is better for the job and better suits you

Perhaps he/she meant that the SSHD is terrible not Seagate. I personally hate having super low capacity SSDs in my system regardless of cost or speed. I'd rather just for a nice big SSD. 240GB is minimal for me.

GUYs, that 8GB ssd, found in SSHDs is NOT acessable to user, but is instead used for caching most frequently used files.

if you cant see in my sig I own a seagate sshd, I wasnt talking about reliability (even though I had a problem after the first month of it) but its sshd technology is hardly beneficial. My mates standard barrucuda wad only few second slower in most task and was actually faster in boot
