Windows Explorer Constant Crash!

Go to solution Solved by ShmoeMo,

I finally fixed this issue. I re-installed  windows and enabled AHCI mode for the sata controller and this issue no longer exists

At the begining of the year i upgraded to a  Gigabyte 3X Windforce Gtx770 2GB OC from a Gigabyte HD6570 and ever since i have had constant windows explorer crashing and it is getting to the point of of me wanting to put a sledge hammer through the computer. I have looked all over the internet and found things on it saying its a common problem with windows 7 and soloutions that dont work for me. When i had the HD6570 had no problems with the computer at all and ever since the GTX770 i have had constant problems. I have tried reinstalling windows multiple times and no success . tried Ubuntu had no issuse what so ever with it as soon as i went back to windows it just went to shit again. So if anyone knows what it might be plz let me know

So I guess you have done system repair things and complete reinstall already? If those don't help, HDD is dying.

its only been happening since the grahics card upgrade and if i put the old one back in it fixes it untill i put the 770 back in
