Do they make a keyboard for me?

Pnudran

You guys are going to find what I am looking for in a keyboard absolutely odd.

*Cherry MX blue switches

*individual key lighting (more than 1 color)

*Mostly flat keys or fully flat keys

*Good software for customization (LEDs and keys)

with 10 digit

my thoughts are pretty much a Corsair K95 mixed with a  Steelseries Apex gaming keyboard

Ducky makes some awesome KB, but I can't think of any that fits what you want.....at least, I don't think so. Individual key lighting? What? You mean the ability to change the color of the LED? I have the 78 Version, but it doesn't sound like it fulfills your set of parameters...

How do you like the Hybrid?  So tempted to get one.

Also, what's your take on the Black Hornet MKA-3?

Well, I believe you're mistaken, the KB in my pic isn't the Black Hornet MKA-3, this one below is:

The multi-colored one in my other post is a Ducky Shine II 78 Version, the alphabet keys are Red, numpad's Blue, and so forth......it has Black, Brown, White, etc.

Here's a link to the KB, it's a limited run due to rarity of a couple of the switches I believe. Mine's 210/399, yep, only 399 were made...

No, I saw the wrist rest and figured you had a black hornet somewhere else.  On the hybrid multicolor ducky I just wanted to get your opinion on it.  Was it worth getting?

Yep, worth every penny....to me anyway. Great KB, typing on the alphabet keys is basically typing on Reds, I tend to make a little more mistakes with Reds since I'm not great a typist. Heck, I type more slowly on the MJ Ninja since the letters/symbols are on the front, and not on top, of the keycaps. I'd gotten the DS II 78 Version because it's basically a Red KB, and I prefer using Red for games. Besides, it looks so good, I sometimes turn on my main rig just to admire it. As for the Black Hornet, it's an OK mech KB, to its credit, it uses authentic Cherry Red switches. I'd randomly popped open a couple of its keycaps, I see this:

20130415_191543_zps6c6e416e.jpg

Like all Reds, I find it great for gaming, the Black on the DK9087G2 Pro is like a heavier/stiffer Red, really like it for gaming as well. The Brown's an all rounder to me, I like it for typing (but not as much as the Blue) and I certainly do like it for gaming as well (though not as much as the Red and Black).

ducky shine two

looks great i just wish each key was more than one color.

let me re word what I want to be about the keys. I like the 16.x million colors on it, BUT it has membrane keys. I like the individual lighting on the Corsair k95 but I do not like the single LED color. I currently like the key caps to be flat on top (kinda like a laptop or a apple) because that is what I am used to at work and whats on my laptop. (flat in the top where the lettering goes)

they have a good guide to mechanical keyboards and explain what i mean by flat. here is the pic they used

Flat keys? Mechanical chiclet-styled keyboard? Nah, go to another planet

I know they exist because my work has them (on the point of sale) , I just dont like the feeling of the curved keys as much, they slow down me and I am not s accurate for what ever reason the way I type i kinda roll my fingers accros the keys (kinda like swifty keys but with all 5-10 fingers) while keeping my fingers on the home row (or close)

My current keyboard is the one on my GT60 and I love the keyboard on it just wish it had individual lighting on all keys and not zones, I like the breathing, wave, and such on the colors. i like the feel but I want a mech board.

MSI-GT60-5.jpg

I like the ability to change the board for diffrent games, I also do audio engineering so I need a keyboard thats tactile for that but I want to light up my main keys for Pro tools and other programs deppending on the program. I do not have to have it fast profile switching  but if they do have profiles that be cool. (I am willing to edit the keys before I play/Work)

I think he meant that getting chiclet keys with mechanical switches was impossible.  Personally, I've never heart of a keyboard like that.

Due to the design of the Cherry MX switched it's more or less impossible to make flat keys like that of a laptop.. I assume you could look up something with Cherry ML however which is intended to be more compact than MX.

You'd probably need to find a custom manufacturer that makes chiclet-flat cherry mx compatible keycaps, we can't really help you here as they don't exist for the wide consumer market for it's not in demand. Trust me.

This is the only flat mechanical keyboard I know of it's also a bit retro, you could probably get it on ebay for a good price.

Nice find, although it's more of a membrane-style keycap than a chiclet though, gotta be hard to find... Mechanical switches are raised after all
