Hello, I want to Overclock my 4770k and as soon as I take it over 3,9GHz I can't boot.

Sometimes it just loads forever without doing anything and other times I can see the desktop and then suddenly WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE
_ERROR appears.

Could this be my RAM is not supporting XMP?

Are you also adjusting voltages, cause it'll do that if the voltage isn't sufficient enough for the OC. In most cases the WHEA... is the cpu. The ram should be fine if it's running at its' rated specs.

I have tested these voltages: 1.1, 1.150, 1.2, 1.250 and 1.3 and none of them work. My motherboard is Asus Maximus VII Hero.

You might just have lost the silicon lottery, got a chip that doesn't like overclocking. It happens and not much you can do. Some can overclock high, others not at all. Just the luck of the draw.

That's strange. Most of those voltage should've worked. I know you aren't the only one who has had this issue. Here's a previous thread on the same issue that may offer some insight: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/107752.... . I would also reference this guide to make sure all the other voltages such as cpu ring voltage are correct aswell: http://www.overclockersclub.com/guides/overclock_intel_4770k_guide/2.htm.  Lastly, I would check the minidump that relates to the bsod to see if it says anything further about what triggered it. I use whocrashed for a brief analysis. That's about all I can offer as I don't personally have a 4770K but good luck.

I turned off ai overclocking tuner auto mode and overclocked to 4,2 GHz with 1,225v and that is stable.

Maybe it was that who messed it up?
