Beyerdynamic DX120 IE audio problem

The volume on my IE's is funky it goes from low to high all the time and there seems to be something wrong with them obviously. My 30-day return on amazon is over so I kind of need a way of fixing them or something. Or is there no way of fixing it. If I orientate the jack a little I can get it to a higher volume.

If they are faulty you can still return them, they should swap them out for you

I have done some testing and it turns out it's just the extension cable. I will probably just get a new one that is more durable.
