If you don't oc, there's very little difference. Clock speed is the only difference between the two.

The 4670k will allow you to overclock (the "k" tells you it is overclockable) beyond 3.4GHz. The 4570 will be locked at the clock speed (3.2GHz) it specifies and of course, it is cheaper.

If you are even considering the i5-4670k I would suggest getting the i5-4690k instead as it is the same price as the i5-4670K.

You can get an i5-4670k for $189 in-store at Microcenter, or use Staples.com Price Match feature.  To use the Price Match, you will have to either call Staples or live chat with someone through their website.

Here is a very good Z87 motherboard for only $80.

For 10 bucks more, you can get an i5-4690K.

Seriously. It's $199.99. And the i5-4590S is 169.99.

Like all of them or just the Haswells? I can probably do each generation separately since it's like in numerical order, but I can't with all of them.

Lets simplify.  What is your budget, what do you plan to do with your build, do you have any components already purchased?  Where are you located? What games will you be playing?
