I bought the A10 7850k kavari from AMD. I would like to buy a graphics card to crossfire with the APU. Is there a list of graphics card that will crossfire with the APU. I would like to crossfire with the APU without disabling the chips onboard graphics (well for now). The highest I have seen is the R7 250 graphics card, is there anything higher?

AMD FX 6300 Black Edition, ASRock 990FX Killer, 16GBs Memory @2133, 2 MSI R9 270x's in Crossfire, NZXT Kraken X41 Cooler, Samsung 850 pro SSD, 1 TB HDD, EVGA Supernova NEX 650 G, and with 4 other fans.

Aye, thing to look out for though: At 720p I used to use a 5800K + 6670. Games would run better on just the 6670 and not dual graphics.

 

Hopefully AMDs driver situation has improved this though.

Dual Graphics

 

is what they call for when the IGPU and the dGPU are X-Fired together

 

but the fps gains when using this setup is at most 10+ fps

 

 

I say save up a bit more for a slightly better discrete GPU

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

Their latest driver set, or the one before that, really delves into this Hybrid Xfire and improves it a lot (adding frame pacing to Hybrid Xfire now) )as opposed to older drivers having those issues where its broken or better on one of those single addin cards. PCPER did an article on it  - Jan 2014

Hybrid CrossFire that actually works

Now an actual viable option for some...

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
