My uncles birthday is coming up in a couple days and I wanted to make him a gmv of his favorite song "You shook me all night long". But what I dont know is, if that song is under public domain or if i will get in trouble with youtube and/or acdc for using that song. Any help to figure this out would be nice!! Thanks!!!!

 

PS: I am considering monetizing it on youtube. So would that get me in trouble also? If so, i wont monetize and and just upload it if allowed to.

As long as you don't use the file or copy of the song you have for any type of monetary gain then you are not breaking any copyrights, enjoy!

That's on the fine line, but generally don't gain something of monetary value, that's how I look at it, and the full seasons of The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, I could go on and on.... but anyway, keep it for yourself and your family. In other words, Yes, that is what I was saying.
