There is no reason you would need 8200 dpi.

Are you running a 16000x9000 resolution display from the future or something?

I need the DPI for 3D modeling and moving across HUGE spaces of polygons. I currently use 5600 and it just isn't enough for the small space i have for my mouse. I would buy a bigger desk if i had the space but in my small dorm i really can't. Either way though it just isn't enough for 3D modeling personally. I also need the free scroll wheel because it makes zooming in and out, as well as scrolling down abnormal amounts of code a lot less fatiguing. I am not going to be using this mouse so much for gaming (probably not at all), i should have cleared that up, sorry.

Well unfortately not many manufactorers have free-scrolling mouse wheels and the certain mechanism that Logitech uses is patented.

However, fortunately enough, Logitech mice are quite good and a few of them do have this feature.

One other good mouse I know includes this feature is the Logitech G700s, it works in wired and wireless mode with no difference between while also including a standard AA eneloop battery to be charged when in wired mode.
