My pc shut off randomly, and now it wont boot

so i was just playing minecraft and watching youtube videos when all of a suddent my pc turned off, and i dont know why. i cant turn it on again and when i hold the button on my psu all my fans spin and my drives boot but it will not turn on any display, and when i take my finger of the button, everything stops spining.

Power surge maybe? Look for charred components or burnt smelling stuff in your computer. Also your power supply could of just died.

im thinking this and my dad insist on getting a replacement from dell even though im going to upgrade it myself within the month and it was not a surge i had other things plugged in and nothing happen to them

they are sending a new psu and mobo and getting me to take it to their saskatoon location for them to fix it, i would do it my self but they wont let me, yet my warnty is fine if i put a new gpu in
