Depends on the stream quality you picked, I think most rippers pull the 1080p stream or next highest that exists.

Same size, it's just that you don't have to wait for it to buffer as you already have it.

Yes, because you're technically downloading them (saving into the cache) when you're watching directly from YT.

Yea, that is what i was figuring. I moved to the middle of nowhere and have to get my internet from satellite, so every meg counts.
