solid build

maybe the little issue is airflow with the H440

I would spend more money on GPU's, R9 290X2!!!!! It actually performs marginally better than 2x 290x's

you mean the 295X2?

that is way more expensive and it only slight faster in certain games

you know that 290 on water will also be as fast as the 290X

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

yes those air cooler should be good but the heat will be trapped inside the casing esp the H440 airflow is not really good

So i am upgrading a ot of stuff in my pc, but I am keeping the cpu and the motherboard

Here is what I want

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($269.00 @ CPL Online)  - Good if you are just going to be gaming, might want to upgrade it if not, but you should be alright :) Just me being nervous ;)

CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken X60 98.3 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler  ($148.00 @ CPL Online) - Good cooler, should keep temps in check.

Motherboard: MSI Z97-G45 Gaming ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($198.00 @ CPL Online) - Good mobo so if you are not upgrading CPU this is definetly good :)

Memory: Kingston Fury Red Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory  ($99.00 @ Mwave Australia) - Why 2 different sets of memory? I would go for one 16 GB set instead since they will be validated to run together. I guess the colour is your point here? ;)

Memory: Kingston Fury White Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory  ($105.00 @ PCCaseGear) - Why 2 different sets of memory? I would go for one 16 GB set instead since they will be validated to run together. I guess the colour is your point here? ;)

Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($99.00 @ PCCaseGear) - Good, although I would personally go for a 240 GB one. (Or all SSD power  )

Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  ($59.00 @ PLE Computers) - Why this? Why not just get a 3 TB HDD instead of this and the other HDD on the list?

Storage: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  ($97.00 @ CPL Online) - Above.

Video Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 290 4GB Tri-X Video Card (2-Way CrossFire)  ($499.00 @ Mwave Australia) - I would personally either wait for the new nVidia cards or go for the Titan Blacks here. Or if you want AMD please get the 290x ones since they are simply just a bit better. You can no longer flash these to be just as good ;)

Video Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 290 4GB Tri-X Video Card (2-Way CrossFire)  ($499.00 @ Mwave Australia) - Above.

Case: NZXT H440 (White/Black) ATX Mid Tower Case  ($159.00 @ PCCaseGear) - Personally not my taste, but this is subjective so yeah ^^

Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 1000G2 1000W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply  ($259.00 @ Mwave Australia) - I would personally go for a Corsair one like the one in my signature (massively overkill for me, but not that much for this) or something else, just because I think they are better.

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 Pro (OEM) (64-bit)  ($165.00 @ CPL Online) - If you like it then it is nothing to complain about here ^^

Monitor: Samsung U28D590D 60Hz 28.0" Monitor  ($719.00 @ PCCaseGear) - Good to go :)

Keyboard: Ducky DK9087 Shine 3 TKL Blue LED Backlit (Blue Cherry MX) Wired Standard Keyboard  ($145.00 @ PCCaseGear) - Subjective, if you like it then sure.

Mouse: Razer DeathAdder 2013 Wired Optical Mouse  ($47.00 @ CPL Online) - Subjective as well, but generally a good mouse so that's good.

Headphones: Asus Vulcan Pro 7.1 Channel Headset  ($145.00 @ CPL Online) - Here is where I think you can do better. 7.1 is just a marketing gimmich and you will be much better of getting something from a brand that knows what they are doing like Beyerdynamic or Sennheiser. My suggestion: http://asia-pacific-india.beyerdynamic.com/shop/mmx-300-manufaktur.html (link is to where I think you will be shopping from and where you can customize it :) ).

I feel like it would be worth waiting for more powerful cards to come around. Unless of course you can throw around the cash then as well. That's my take and plan at least.

You gotta do you girl. I always say you gotta do you. And if he's doing him, then who's doing you? Because right now, it seems like no one's doing you.

small case is good if you only have single GPU

but multi GPU do need a airy casing or you see the GPU temps go up

GPU don't like to be side by side especially for AMD reference cooler versions

Ah, I'm not gonna be making a big move until 3 years or so in terms of switching over to 4k. Although I do need to switch over to mini-ITX in 2 months; I guess that's a big buy. Sentiment about 4k still stands regardless.

What do you guys think? Is it gonna look cool and what do you think it is going to perform like?

I'm a little confused, are the cpu and motherboard listed to be bought or do you already have them?

The two memory kits have different timings. Also, XMP profiles are based on the total load of the kit so you might have to fiddle with timings.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
