r9 295x2. Anything more is wasted money. Anything less and you'll have to compromise (which is ok for me but if you have unlimited bedget there's no reason to compromise).

so the 295 is better

Just to make this clear. The AMD R9-295X2 is roughly the same as two AMD R9-290Xs. The 295X2 might be better in some configurations because it is both liquid and air cooled so it might run at slightly higher clocks.
