Is there any specific reason? Or could you go into more detail? For the most part what you're asking is a contradiction. For them to see each other they need to be on the same network. Since a basic definition of a network is a group of linked devices.

A wireless controller wouldn't connect over wifi... unless your thinking of the Nvidia shield... It connects over bluetooth, with a special dongle.

You could do this easily I have done the same thing with Ethernet but it will be difficult to do on Windows.

For Ethernet all I needed was dual nick and connection sharing in ubuntu on windows in may not work like that.

If you are talking two wireless networks then you will need to separate wireless cards, dongles etc. on your pc to do it.

What you can do is to connecto your pc via Ethernet (or a different Wireless card) and share that connection via wi-fi

Router <-WLAN/Ethernet-PC-WLAN-><-Xbox

You only have to check this in the NIC that your pc uses to connect to the router:

And with the WLAN card that you want to use to connect your XB to your PC setup an Ad-hoc network

Just so we are all on same page. I'm talking about connecting my xbox over wifi to pc. The catch is that the xbox is in orange park while the pc is in st. augustine. Would there be any way of connecting them over internet or something like that so i could stream media from pc to xbox?

If that was possible, you'd have to play around with something like hamachi on the PC. There would have to be a PC in the place where the xbox is, and one version installed on the PC you want to stream from. That would create a virtual "LAN" bridge over the internet between the two private networks.

The xbox should be visible from one of the PC's then and you can try to connect, but its up to if the xbox likes it or not.

Not that I can think of, best bet for what your trying todo would be get a 700 or Titan Series graphics card  and an Nvidia shield,  a virtual lan, and a mini hdmi to full hdmi from shield to tv, and hope latency doesn't make it unplayable...Spoiler alert, it probably will...
