I've been having some problems recently with my mouse. It will frequently drop dpi to 800 (lowest setting, far too low for myself), and sometimes the cursor will move erratically around the screen before the mouse ceases to work entirely. The problem can always be solved by unplugging, then replugging the USB cable in, but when this happens every 5 minutes/during gaming, it's really, really annoying. When the cursor moves around as I described, the LED appears to flicker, which I'm guessing is what's causing it. Has anyone had a similar problem? Might there be a solution other than sending it off for repair/replacement?

Also just to clarifiy: I have changed surface multiple times, I have used every USB port (including the passthrough on my K70), I have tried every setting within the corsair mouse utility.

I googled it a little and couldn't find anyone having this problem with this mouse. I'll be sending a support request to corsair, but figured I'd ask here too.

Thanks!

Either your cable or your mouse itself seems broken. You can try another USB port but I doubt that's gonna make a difference.

Yeah, kinda annoyed at myself for skimping a little on the Mouse now. Cheers :)

Does this problem still occur when the Corsair software is removed?

Do you have any synaptics software or razer software installed?

Yes, I've uninstalled it and tried without.

No, the only software I have used is the corsair utility.
