I bought a second (refurbished) gtx 670 4gb from microcenters outlet.I am usually pretty good about testing my hardware as soon as I get it so I can rma things that need to be rma'd.This didn't happen due to college and other life events. So now it is passed the return period(by a good amount of time).SO I installed the second card and at first it seemed ok but now I am getting some strange artifacting.I get these yellow and blue squares that randomly show up during video playback.the game crashes in bf4 in sli mode(works fine as a single card).the card passes 3dmark firestike extreme (sli and single card).I reinstalled windows and put fresh drives on. same issues.I removed the card and ran my original 670 by itself with no issue (and I ran the new card by itself the problem comes back).I am now sure the new card is going bad.Its a zotac card and have little hope of getting help from them.I could always try to reflow the card (i am electrically inclined, but without expensive equipment its a roll off the dice) but that is going to be a last resort before sending the card to the dumpster. My question is if I wanted to possibly get the card professionally reballed, are there any reputable companies/persons that could do this for me? How much should a procedure like this cost? From my research it seems like most places are talking about laptops.

You don't have warranty? try that first at microcenter

Also contact Zotac.

If they can't help you look for someone that can reball your gpu not reflowing but reballing.

And pro tip for everyone when you buy electronics/hardware always check if it isn't DOA.

Not worth it...
