You might want to look at Zowie mice. They are lesser known but their mice are top notch. I'd reccomend the EC1 or EC2 evo mice depending on the size of your hand (ec2 is smaller)

What do I think?

I think they still don't have the perfect gaming mouse out there for me.  Buttons on top are still too small and/or still not enough of them.  Also sometimes you find one mouse has features you want but then doesn't have other features you see in another mouse.  I think it is totally done on purpose so people just keeping buying mice.  Gosh forbid they cater to people's wants and needs specifically and give them a mouse they can use forever but wait that would destroy commerce. Anyway ...

As for recommendations I say do as much shopping for a mouse in stores.  Even if the mouse is packaged with many of them you can still grip them and feel kind of what they'd be like to use.  I would also recommend buying them at stores that have a good return policy.  I know Future Shop does and so they would be one store I recommend.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S
