r9 290 warranty void

hey guys, i am picking up an r9 290 vapor-x (by sapphire) this summer... so, since i found nothing on sapphire's site or google i decided to make a new thread. will overclocking/overvolting an r9 290 vapor-x void its warranty? what about the tri-x card? ty for reading

No, I think you'll only void the warranty if you remove the cooler or change the BIOS.

I fix computers and computer accessories... sometimes... when I want to...

Technically yes if you tell them you have OC'd, but overclocking leaves no evidence as it is done by software.

Absolutely

Know your limits. Don't fry your card. If you stay within voltage limits set by EVGA in precision x and MSI in afterburner, then you will be fine.

since i will watercool and probably play at high res i  need as much perf as possible

Changing the cooler on the card will also void the warranty

that will take a while... untill then i want my card to be secure

Why get Vapor-X? You'll have hard time finding the block because it use custom PCB. Tri-X use reference PCB.
