New build, OC a must?

Lewis94

So after a while I finally completed my research for my final Gaming PC build. (I will also be doing light video editing in Sony Vegas.)

For the performance, is it worth whacking on a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO & will is increase my gaming performance significantly? (I'm new to OC)

CPU: i5 4670k
Motherboard: Gigabyte z87-HD3
Memory: 8GB Corsair Vengeance
Storage: 1TB WD Blue
SSD: 120GB HyperX 3K
Video Card: GTX 770 EVGA Superclocked
PSU: 750W Corsair
OS: Windows 8.1

Total £737(Including cooler master)

Thanks.

So 750w is too much? I was thinking future proof, what watt would you recommend?

If SLI in future then keep that if no SLI get the 600 watt Corsair PSU

Just go ahead with the 750w. It isn't a bad thing. Its just a slightly larger initial cost, but leaves you a lot of room for upgrades.

Get a Corsair RM550. a 750w PSu is only needed if you are going to SLI or CF

Go with Noctua if you're air cooling. Their biggest one should do just fine. Also z97 would be better for future proofing. and 750 is fine if you plan for sli.

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Dubs are better than subs
