New TV sucks

Who buys a 58" 1080p TV? Lol. Your TV was never 100Hz,Linus has explained this before. He also did a Tech Quickie TV and monitor Refresh rate video you should watch. It's not actually going to run at 100Hz is the long and short of it.

TVs often have lots more input lag than PC monitors becuase they do more processing to the image before they display the frame, that could be why you are getting more input lag.

Why not?

Because, unless you have a huge Living room and therefore are going to be sitting 20 feet away...it's going to look pretty gross. Then again, I don't have a TV, so I wouldn't know. I guess it's fine while 1080p content is the best we have.

With this TV the one i put back on seen in this pic Works perfectly only thing is that it's 42" a bit small .i simply wanted bigger.

No issues with pc to tv what so ever & it's a very old screen .. say 5-6 years or something .

I was thinking that 42" vs 58" would be so sick .So ill be getting the money back as i called em up .Keep saving a bit more & just get a Smart TV ,so hopefully a Smart TV will have none of these issues. :)

Thanks for that website :Amaysing: helps alot .

What ill do next time i get a TV screen for PC is ask this forum

About the Screen im willing to use to see if it will perform as they all should do in the

1st place .If my DGTEC 42" TV can do this with my PC then there should be another Tv

that can also do it .

Last question is what is this DINA that my friends are talking about ? is that got anything to

do with input lag ?

Thanks Forum you're help is always great even if im wrong all good. :)

Update on this issue

I contacted Palsonic & they wanted pics of the issue so i sent em some & i wrote this:

...I have gathered several images for you Please find Attached Files .
Please also note Receipt was given by hand apon delivery so ive taken a photo for that as well.

With fault 1: being very visible it also was with Foxtel & not only on
-Setting PC & HDMI-
i also lowered the resolution from my PC to see if that would help to find the same effect .
Also that Dot on top of the screen .This may be due to Back Light inside the TV & it's positioning .

With Fault 2 Movies has a glitch on play back ,when a fast moving object from a movie even fast leg movement has a blocky effect ,my thoughts on this would suggest that the processor unit powering the TV is not fast enough to process fast objects .Glitching blocky.

With Fault 3 ,is Input lag : ive done extensive research on this ,Thus given that the TV has a -PC setting- so that a PC can be used on the TV input lag is accruing more so than the 7ms response time given on Specifications on the TV ( i know these are to different things) to what Real time Response times are.

With this TV it's more like 50+ ms Response time ,ill move mouse and say it has a very noticeable delay .And also with movies (you can see it with mouth movement not matching sound ).

This TV i will say has Very nice colors to it ,it's just a pitty it's processing power is not how can i say this, not fast enough to Process HDMI ,however it can take HDMI inputs .

I hope this is all the information you need also, you guys over at Redfern Palsonic have an amazing day ,you're Customer service has been great ,& thank you .

Can you please advise Refund to Apliances online for me that will be great.
The TV is been placed back in it's original packaging ready to go back with some extra clear sticky tape ,i used that as i don't have White strapping to go over the box .

Kind Regards :******* ******
