Help with maths (A level)

Hey i have attached a question i am stuck with. The 1st part i can do and kind of the 2nd but the 3rd part just confuses me too much.I dont know where to make a start A=1 B=19

 

I dont normally ask for help in maths but this one i just cant not do been stuck on it for too long and is driving me mad :(  .Thank you

well do you have a graphic calculator? maybe a TI-86?

For part B you wanna use wolfram alpha, and for part c.

R is equal to the square root of a^2 a b^2

and the angle is inverse tan b/a.

 

Im guessing this is a C3 question if you wanna look at a mark scheme its similar to question 8 in this paper, but its just an algebraic version, and more theoretical. Paper

It seems like you'd just draw a sin and a cos graph on the same graph, with the 'amplitude' of the lines being +- the day or the month respectively.

 

Then you need to add some waves which isn't on the A-Level side of things, at least not in C4, so you'll have to carry on from there
