i need advice (first build )

hi there i'm planing my first build and need some help and advice i'm currently using a Toshiba satellite laptop as my gaming rig but i'm looking to build my first desktop. I'm aiming for a budget of $1500 Australian dollars it needs  to be small to fit on my desk as why I've chosen a micro atx case and motherboard the specs will be below i do mostly gaming and light video editing.

you must REALLY want to go MINI ITX to pay 249$ for that motherboard...WTF?

a micro ATX motherboard would be much better?!...also MUCH cheaper...

what would be the best all in one water cooler for this build or should i go for and air cooler ?

My advice would be a bigger desk instead of overpaying that much to make a small form factor build, as a desk would probably cost less. But then again I dont understand small form factor's unless you need to cart it around to LAN parties and what not. Also you should get z97 for the future proofing.
