first Gaming PC build

okay so I need help building my first gaming PC. I am building the photon off of Austin Evans YouTube video I would like to know if it would be a good idea to put two Rams which are 8 GB ...and if there are any add ons I should add...please help me you can watch the video of you search the photon PC it should be the first video please help I'm not in very handy with computer things and add ons and stuff like that. Thank you
