My advice for anybody building a pc, Never cheap out on a PSU

You probably don't mean he has to get a 25 pound PSU, but still. In my 'in planning' build i will be getting an AX760i.

Solid power delivery, low noise, looks good and is futureresistant to say the least.

I said spend a bit less, not get a crappy one. He could easily save a few bucks by getting the exact same RM series PSU, just a 500w.

You can get an EVGA Supernova G2 750W for a lot less than the overpriced AX760i. I would also take the AX760 over the AX760i.

I don't really care that much about the price. I want my power supply to last, be good looking, be silent and have the right connectors.

The I is because I will have the Corsair H100i , so i can integrate my PSU in the Corsair Link aswell.

YOUR BASKET

Total : £1,590.44 (includes shipping : £22.20).

Above spec is from Overclockers UK. You will find parts cheaper if you shop around (Amazon, Dabs, Scan, Aria etc)

At the moment, the Gigabyte Gaming 7 board has a free 8GB kit of the Kingston Ram included, which is worth £60. It is the same Red/Black as above but 2133MHz rather than 2400MHz. You can either sell it on, or see if they will discount the price of it from the Motherboard.

A very good EVGA psu (10 yr warranty) which will allow for sli. If you only plan on running one card then you want a 650W.

The MX100 is a new SSD from Crucial that has pretty good specs for the money. If the Samsung fits in your budget though I would go for that.

Changed the Monitor to a 24" 1080P.

Mouse/Keyboard are a personal pref so you might want to keep your original choices.
