I simply cannot make up my mind.

This is my current build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/psshmG

I'm planning to play games such as Planetside 2, Battlefield 4, Call of Duty series, Crysis Series, ArcheAge, WildStar, FarCry Series, Ghost Recon Phantoms and a few other games...

So, I will need good quality PSU.

These are the ones available in what I'm currently looking for.

On the other hand...  What do you guys think of my build? It's my #3 test build but so far my favorite one and might end up getting that. na.gif

I'm going for a black/red design... Later on I'll be buying custom red cables for a few components and LED lights...

All the fans will be changed for other ones but with those red circle rings.

This one looks quite good. Also, 750W is pretty much enough for 2 780TIs in SLI too.

You should take a look at the Corsair RM750 too, pretty awesome PSU!

I would go for that over the Corsair RM series, as they use low quality capacitors. The Xfx Line of modular PSU's are all Seasonic based, and are therefore much higher quality.

Also, the games you play has nothing to do with the quality of Power supply you'll need as I'd always recommend getting the highest quality PSU you are able to afford.

CPU: 5930K @ 4.5GHz | GPU: Zotac GTX 980Ti AMP! Extreme edition @ 1503MHz/7400MHz | RAM: 16GB Corsair Dom Plat @ 2667MHz CAS 13 | Motherboard: Asus X99 Sabertooth | Boot Drive: 400GB Intel 750 Series NVMe SSD | PSU: Corsair HX1000i | Monitor: Dell U2713HM 1440p monitor

Well, what would you suggest?

As previously stated, I would recommend the Xfx unit that you linked in your previous posts. It's a higher quality Power Supply than the RM850 series. Explained in my first post.

That XFX pro series is based off Seasonic X series KM3 platform,to which the old Corsair's AX series (the 80+ rated one) is also based off. I'd suggest that one too for its very interesting price compared to others that are on the list.

750W for SLI'd 780Ti's with overclocked 4770k is cutting it close. And the RM Series is not awesome.

@JackBlack Do you intend to SLI with another 780Ti? Because you could do with 550-600W otherwise.

The first two suggestions of Seasonic units are very nice power supplies. They are more expensive than the XFX units however. The XTR Series 650W unit is <$100 and is excellent also, so for the price I would recommend it. The XFX Pro Series 750W mentioned above is more expensive than the XTR 650W, and is higher Wattage than you need for a single 780Ti/4770k system. Still a great unit, and cheaper than the Seasonic's.

For about the same price as the XFX Pro Series 750W is the EVGA Supernova G2 750W, which is also excellent. I would suggest that over the Pro Series also.

Eventually in the future I will have two GTX 780 Ti, yes... But for a first build one is more than enough... What are the pros and cons of a 750 Watts PSU if the best choice would be 650 Watts?

Well you shouldn't get an overkill power supply. Your wallet will be more empty than it needs to be, and the efficiency will suffer a little bit. If you're definitely going to add another GPU rather than upgrading to a better single one in the future, then I would be more comfortable with an 850W for two 780Ti's and overclocking the 4770k.

and if I just upgrade to a better single one and use a single GTX 780 Ti right now it's better to have a 650 Watts? Idk, some people told me it's better to have 750 Watts for a lot of LED lights and if I'm going to OC my system at some point... I don't know.

LEDs, fans and HDDs/SSDs don't use very much at all. Overclocking probably uses less than you think.

Probably, yeah...

Also, concerning memory cards...

For my build what is better; 1600 or 1866 DDR3?

I don't really know the difference.

also, this is pretty much the results for the 650 Watts PSU: http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/power-supply/?compatible_with=corsair-case-air540#R=5,4&m=52,14,71,39&W=630,660&qq=1&e=5,4&p=1&sort=d6

I have to pick one of them.

There is almost no difference between 1600MHz and 1866MHz memory in your system. Whichever is cheaper/looks better.

I see... I was told to just use 1600 and I probably will...

Here's the list of 650 Watts available: http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/power-supply/?compatible_with=corsair-case-air540#R=5,4&m=52,14,71,39&W=630,730&qq=1&e=5,4&p=1&sort=d6

Suggestion?
