Shipping Questions

So I ordered something and I'm an impatient person. The item is at the UPS office at the city right next to mine which is like 8 miles away or about 20-30 min away will my package come today or tomorrow? It's shipping via UPS so what do you think?

Also, will they make it take the standard 3 business days to get it here just because it's standard shipping even though I'm right next to the city where the package is at right now.

I'm getting it from eBay it says it's coming Wednesday but why would it come then when it's next to my city litterally?

Use this trick: expect the package to come in 2 days maximum. If it gets there earlier, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Track the package. They should give you an ETA. If they don't it will be updated to out for delivery, the day that they will deliver it. If it doesn't say it's in the truck then it's probably coming tomorrow. That's just my experience.

If your city has it's own USPS shipping facility, it will likely be there tomorrow as it needs to go through sorting

I will say the usps has a bad reputation for being slow. There is a usps office in the front of my neighborhood and whenever there are packages for me in there, it usually takes the next to get to me.

The way they view it is, this package is expected to be shipped and at the house in 3 days. Sure I could literally walk across the street and hand it over but nah, I won't do that. I'll just leave it here for 2 days then put it on the truck.

Just realized its shipping via ups. I misread because the seller wanted it delivered to the other cities post office to get to mine I guess?

Oh. Ups is usually a lot better with that. Also, it depends on What kind of shipping you bought.

I just bought 3 things from 3 different sellers off of eBay and of coarse it is usps shipping everything. However one of the items is expected 2 day shipping which the seller bought so I'm happy about that. I bought a microphone and a pop-filter for it and the microphone is on economy shipping (which is the cheapest and slowest) and the pop-filter is on two day shipping. What in the hell am I gonna do with a pop filter but no microphone Lol.
