I'll assume it's for 1080P Gaming/editing. So imo you're good to go! :)

you could save yourself some money on the psu, unless you plan on going sli in the future. this system wont consume more than 450W, so anything from 500W up would be fine.

other than that, solid choice, great build

This is my new PC I'm building and would like some opinions on the hardware. This rig will be for Heavy gaming, serious MS word work (yes, you can tax hardware with MS word) and light video editing for YouTube gameplays. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/LwTJmG

looks really good OP.  If your just building this now. Z97 is the chipset you should get now.   It will help you benefit later on for around the same price

Z97 versions of your choice in 2 SKUs.

you will be good for the gaming but won't an I7 be better for the hyperthreading with video editing and ms word :P

and what video editing software are you gonna use ? try to find more nvidia based software then it will go much faster.

and like what other say get lower watt psu and instead silver maybe get gold ;)

The memory kit is not optimal with the Hyper 212 EVO. Consider instead http://pcpartpicker.com/part/kingston-memory-khx18c10k28 or http://pcpartpicker.com/part/a-data-memory-ax3u1600w4g9db. Depending on how big your Word documents are and how many images they contain, you might even consider 16GB. Presuming the budget permits.

The psu is much larger than needed. Something in the 550W - 650W is more than sufficient. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/seasonic-power-supply-ssr550rm, http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-power-supply-cs650m, http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-power-supply-cmpsu650hx, or http://pcpartpicker.com/part/seasonic-power-supply-ssr650rm are all reasonable alternatives.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
