I think we should stop arguing and point out that literally nothing in the world (unless nvidia or AMD has some ridiculously stupid card) can do 3x 4K. Almost nothing can max 1 4K monitor at 60 fps. The Titan z and 295x2 can sometimes do it depending on the game but unless you want to play pacman in 4K surround, nothing can run it.

Just go for it and turn down settings when the frames aren't there.  I ran Watch_Dogs maxed out at 4K on 2x R9 290s. It held 30fps pretty well with an occasional dip. I only tried Watch_Dogs at 4K, but I've seen benchmarks of Bioshock running 80FPS on 2 290s. Though 2 more 290s won't scale as well. Maybe 120 FPS with 4. I'd def go the AMD route if you plan on 4K x3 now, because of the memory. I am sending my 290s back and I ordered 2 780Tis to see how much better nVidia's solution handles Watch_Dogs. I'm gonna miss the 4 gigs. Good luck!
