I did everything , upgraded my motherboard, drivers, xmp enabled , sam , pbo , everything is set.

In pubg pc i did my graphics on ultra. Lowering cpu optimizing things to low. Like shadows...effect and frogile or something.

Result is i see fps between 99-130. Cpu usage at 85-95%, while my cpu temp is at 66 max. My gpu meanwhile is sitting on 70-80% usage max. Is that all i can expect from ryzen 5 5600. Or should i shift on AM5 with the same gpu? Like 7500x3d wuth rx 7600.

You should be getting like 200 fps, not sure if PUBG got more demanding in 3 years, probably not.

Same system does 100fps on max settings PUBG

I builded my system an year ago.

Specs

CPU - Ryzen 5 5600

GPU - Rx 7600 oc sapphire

MOBO - B550M DS3H AC WIFI

COOLER - AK 400 cooler

STORAGE - 1TB NVME SSD CRUCIAL P3 PLUS

PSU - MSI 750W GOLD 80+ FULLY MODULAR

CASE - DEEPCOOL CH360

AIRFLOW - 3 DEEPCOOL FRONT FACING FANS AND ONE INBUILT CASE FAN

MONITOR - 180HZ ACER AMD SYNC.

My problem is even after lowering textures and many things in games like CS2, WAR THUNDER, AND PUBG. I do feel my system is stuttering.

I am thinking of upgrading my system. And with the current phase of the market, i want to remain at AM4. The only CPU i think of as a upgrade is 5800x ( i am not looking for pre owned X3D CPUS)

Will 5800x make any difference in gaming if i upgrade?

And what GPU will be good for this at 1080p only. I think these 3 are best options.

7700XT, 4070, 7800XT

Which will be the least bottelneck and best pair.

And the combo will make any difference with my current setup?

most of what you listed won't really run any different on a 5800x vs 5600x.

Run some benchmarks / tests and see what you're hitting for your 1% lows and see if something is causing you some bad dips in frametime.

If yes, that's something that can be diagnosed potentially.

Those are not games you should be struggling with. Something specific is wrong and there's probably no need to upgrade at this time.

When we see more info, we will have a better idea of what to try out, but I suspect you are probably having some EXPO problems. We will see

I'd honestly suspect a Windows issue. Has this been an issue since you built it?
Regardless, SFC and DISM are good things to run. Double check that your RAM is actually running at the correct speed in Task Manager. Make sure to grab chipset drivers etc from the mobo product page and while you're there, make sure your BIOS is at least vaguely up to date

I wonder if it's because of this thing

if I may quote you @porina, I do believe you got the same NVME

Depends on how the stuttering manifests for OP. I found my P3 Plus to give really slow reads after owning it for a long time. Drive was getting full so less SLC cache, and the old data on there had been around for a while. Slow reads could result in stuttering if the games stream data in during play. If it loads it for each level/area, then that might take longer but shouldn't impact.

If the game expects the RAM to quickly download data from SSD that is slow, maybe?

I'd look at software too, simply all the drivers.

No this was my first ever build. I am confused a lot now. Is my gpu and cpu combo good for 108hz 1080p display? Should i upgrade my gpu to 7700xt? Stutters only happen in cs2 mostly and waethunder. I am hitting more than 180hz in cs2 very high. But in war thunder in high graphics the game sometimes lags or stutters idk what word to say for it perfectly. In pubg pc i basically see 130-140 fps on very high.

Are you running out of VRAM on your GPU? Might be just too high graphics settings.

Problem is when i play cs2 and yeah its on very high. But i put the textures to low(fps - 200). And in pubg it is on high and textures on medium(fps - 120-140) , in war thunder it is high (fps - 180-200)

In all these games my cpu usage is 70-90 sometimes in pubg it shows more than 100. And all of the time in most games my gpu is sitting on 60-80 usage. Mostly btw 60-70

What about the drivers? Did you update Chipset drivers for the Motherboard?

counter strike 2 is notorious for running rather poorly on AMD graphics cards .
VRAM is not the issue -
8gb is enough at 1080p even with high textures .
the utilization should be at around 5-5.5 gb ,
but for some reason i found out AMD video cards can run up to 7gb with the same settings compared to nvidia cards
(but with the 8gb of vram you are still good especially if you already lowered the texture quality)

i´ve tested few older AMD video cards in this game and i had stutters even if everything was at low and the game was technically running at 250 FPS
(it felt more like a occasional momentary lag/freeze rather than constant stuttering though)

a friend of mine owning a 7900XTX also had lots of issues with the game ,
while we were playing 5v5 premier he would crush at least once almost every game
since he had rtx 3060 12gb at home to spare and he already tried everything else
i´ve adviced him to try and swap the GPUs and the problems disappeared since he is running the game with the rtx 3060)

but since you also have issues in other games as well this doesn´t have to resolve the problem for you necessarily .
that being said if some of your friends have a nvidia graphics card and would be willing to let you try it for a day i would consider testing the swap .

this may also be a valid point , i owned this exact drive running a 5700x and rtx 2070 super system
and after about a year or so of usage and once the drive was full of data i also started to experience similar symptoms
once i´ve replaced the drive everything went back to normal .

Should be simply even seen in like Task Manager if RAM is still running OC speeds

It is 3200mhz the highest i have. I am facing a problem. My motherboard is Rev 1.7 Gigabyte B550M DS3H ac. I tried to update the bios. And downloaded the rev 1.7 version but it showed id check error. Then i tried every version like 1.4, 1.5 , 1.0-1.1-1.2-1.3(in this it showed some different error meaning that's not the version). No bios update file is working. Everything is showing ID error.

Are you just downloading and trying to install the BIOS? Because some BIOS files need specific step-by-step followup to work properly, it's best to check out how the official website guides you to install that BIOS.

Some BIOS need re-name or being in specific folder if it's in USB, other work right out of download with no tweaks needed.

Some motherboards can update BIOS straight from disk, there's also problems around USB in general, where some USB sticks refuse to work but others somehow work fine and install BIOS on first try.
