I did everything , upgraded my motherboard, drivers, xmp enabled , sam , pbo , everything is set.

In pubg pc i did my graphics on ultra. Lowering cpu optimizing things to low. Like shadows...effect and frogile or something.

Result is i see fps between 99-130. Cpu usage at 85-95%, while my cpu temp is at 66 max. My gpu meanwhile is sitting on 70-80% usage max. Is that all i can expect from ryzen 5 5600. Or should i shift on AM5 with the same gpu? Like 7500x3d wuth rx 7600.

You should be getting like 200 fps, not sure if PUBG got more demanding in 3 years, probably not.

Same system does 100fps on max settings PUBG

Yeah on max i am getting 100fps. I just wanna ask. Is AM5 setup worth it in 2026? Or should i wait for ram getting lower prices

It's worth but expensive, you still got a really good PC for most part, unless you want to play the latest un-optimized games on Ultra graphics.

What would be the reason for thinking about an upgrade? There's still few parts in your generation build that can get upgraded.

AM5 build costs 1500$ minimum, and that's with current-gen low-end parts.

DDR5 RAM + 2TB NVME costs 760$+ today.

current PC:

Ryzen 5 5600 |16GB DDR4 3200Mhz | B450 | GTX 1080 ti [further details on my profile]

PC configs I used before:

  1. Pentium G4500 | 4GB/8GB DDR4 2133Mhz | H110 | GTX 1050
  2. Ryzen 3 1200 3,5Ghz / OC:4Ghz | 8GB DDR4 2133Mhz / 16GB 3200Mhz | B450 | GTX 1050
  3. Ryzen 3 1200 3,5Ghz | 16GB 3200Mhz | B450 | GTX 1080 ti

I think i should max out my am4. Cause i only play some games...like pubg pc...cs2, rdr2, cyberpunk. I am thinking of ryzen 7 5800x and 7700XT/9060XT gpu. Is that combo good for 1080p 180hz. Or will it be the same bottelneck?

I am thinking of this combo for 1080p 180hz. 5700x and rx 9060xt 16gb. Will this be a better option for me? Since i play some limited games only.

That depends, you could just upgrade GPU and have the freedom of higher graphics on similar baseline 5600x gives, which can be pretty decent,

Not bad upgrade, not great since it's lowest end 9000 series card, and CPU that mostly will just increase the amount of cores, though it still has slightly higher boost clock.
