All I can say is, I wish I had $200 to spend on memory. Corsair Vengeance or Dominator series are both great IMO. The heat spreaders are super sexy too.

I may get the Dominator gt

Go with a 2 by 8GB config. It will save you some room for future upgradability. As for the kit, go with Kingston's Hyper X Fury line of memory. The heat spreader looks friggin amazing and it has a full black pcb. Go with whichever colour you want.

These are great too and have a lower profile than Vengeance series if height is a issue due to case/CPU heat sink limitations.

I should be studying.

@BloodWithIce 16GB of RAM is 16GB of RAM. (pretty much)

Just choose the speed of the RAM and the cheapest/whatever you like the best.

PCCaseGear doesn't seem to have 4x4 16GB kits for under $200 though, so I'd probably reccomend this: http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=186_538_913&products_id=21010

That RAM is the second cheapest (2333MHz, the 1600MHz is just $4 cheaper), low profile if you need it and performs as good as any other RAM. I have that style of G Skill RAM in a mITX build at it looks fantastic.

Maybe go with a 2x8 kit if you can? You will get better value for money.

That kit is so ugly though man. There are cheaper 2x8gb sets that will work fine. This way, he can upgrade to 32gb if needed in the future.

I should be studying.

I'll get 2 white and 2 red. I'm all about the looks though. I was thinking about Crucial Ballistix Tracer ram, but it's hell expensive

Looks are subjective. And everything always looks better in person. And not everyone is willing to spend more for looks.

Reason I stuck with what he was asking was if he has a motherboard that was restricted to 16GB or any other reason that he had for specifically asking for 4x4Gb of RAM.

I'll be getting a x99 motherboard anyway.

He said he is all about looks, and it is an Orange kit. Very few people have an orange color scheme. I would never use that kit personally, so I can't recommend it.

I should be studying.

Then you'll need DDR4 memory?

That's fair enough, but said after my post. I was just offering the best value kit that met his requirements as outlined in the original post.
