So my PC (this: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/VdFsZQ) got water spilt on it down the entire thing.

While my board and stuff dries to even see if it still works, I need to go back to my i7 3770.

I have 2 choices for old graphics cards (since my 1080 is like 99% dead). a reference GTX 780 3GB on kepler, or a msi GTX 750 2GB on maxwell (idk the architecture differences I'll be honest).

These are 2 cards I already had sitting around in storage.

I play at 1920x1080 60hz on my screen right now. I record gameplay w/ OBS (i remember the GTX 780 was stuck at 30fps on the recording side, 60 didn't work), not sure with that GTX 750.

And here are my current games, GTA 5 enhanced w/ some friends, Resident Evil 2, Fortnite (that a game I need 60fps minimum in).

I know the i7 can handle the games, just need help on which card to put in my PC for a while. And let me know any cheap options that can get the job done if there's any. Money is tight rn

Also if you're wondering how a full cup of water on into my PC:

My pc is to the left of my desk, I had a water cup on my desk. I left the room to do something for a few and I came back to it wet, cup on floor, and green screen. Recently my birds started flying to my desk, sipping my water and flying off which knocks the cup over.

GTX 980 might be do-able. I see a couple for $40-50.

I actually have tried 2 different RX 470s in the past, and they were both defective. So I'm iffy on that. I'll try that 980 though. Thank you!

Check for rx480/580's they should be 50$ tops by now too.

Either way the 780 is WAY faster than the 750. Sonjust try.

Here's the thing as of right now 😕

I'm so upset at toaster strudel for this

it's so upsetting cause the going on cups behavior has only started like 2 days ago

Now I'm going from a Ryzen 5 5500 and GTX 1080 to a i7 3770 and GTX 780

Here's the list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/yRB7W9

Sadly I can't afford a new PC, best choice might be an old alienware or something IDK

Yeah, birds are real assholes who give no fucks! My "office" is under the (open-back) basement stairs and my cockatiel loves to stand on top of the stairs and poop off the edge down onto my keyboard (and me).
