You're in Scotland, so drinking Tequila at 8 years is normal :P

However, I drink, I'm 16, it's fine. Not arsed one bit.

And no tips, except that Sourz is great.

PS: apologies; I had to put in an awkward picture of Ed Milliband. He is too funny.

My point was that I forced myself to be completely normal without meds and I now refuse to do anything (aside from miss sleep) that affects my state of mind. F**k meds.

I can totally agree with the fuck meds bit but if I said that to my doctor/parents they would just laugh at me. The treatment I'm currently on is not worth the pain and suffering from what I already get. Which is why I don't want to, but my mother thinks other wise when she's not the one injecting an swallowing pills every fucking day

Started drinking when friends turned 18 (the Australian legal drinking age is 18), I would of been ~17.5. Wasn't interested in alcohol before that.

Having a couple of drinks over dinner, etc when underage isn't harmful but I wouldn't be impressed if my hypothetical 16y/o kid(s) came home drunk. More out of concern for their well being than anything else. From experience, you're can be more of a danger to yourself and others being drunk at that age than when you're older.

I think I drank my first glass of whine when I was 10 or so. It was an extremly expensive (talking like 3000€ a bottle) wine from my grandfather and he offered me a glass. It was actually good. I think it was blueberry wine. The first time I drank alcohol on my one with some 'friends' I was like 14 or so. It was pretty funny. I vomited once from drinking too much alcohol when I was like 16 I was over at a fellows house his girlfriend came over and we went to a friend (female) of her and drank so so called Cocktails which were like Vodka, sugar, lemon and ice. That was fun. On our way back we went in a kiosk. I bougth 3 beers one of which I broke in the kiosk because I was drunk :P I remeber being told that it was super creepy that I was talking like I hadn't been drinking at all but coudln't control my body correctly. When my 'friend', his girfriend and I finally arrived at his place and layed in our beds I did stand up and vomited out of the window  I haven't vomited from drinking too much alcohol ever since. (That was 5 years ago)

To awnser your questions:

Do you think its alright to drink at a younger age? Yeah sure. But know your limit and always eat before drinking.

What age did you start drinking alcohol? At the age of 10 or 14 depending on how you want to look at it.

Any tips for me and my friends?  Know your limit and always eat before drinking.

You should be able to drink from any age until 16 - then because teenagers are bad enough drivers it should be illegal from 16-18 lol. I think the difference between 18 and 21 is pretty arbitrary. If I had children and they were drinking as a teenager I wouldn't really care, unless they were driving, I would be FURIOUS. They would never go anywhere again.
