Hello Community,

i am gonna buy the H440 with the Xeon 1231 and the Vapor-X R9 290.

I dont really like the NZXT coolers so i decided to get some Corsair Air (AF140).

How much do i need for my case, and how much at the front (input) and how much at the back (output)?

Not really sure about the balance of the air flow.

Hope you can help me.

Thanks and have a good day!

You mean fans not coolers :P

Also how exactly don't you like them? And please don't get AF 140's. They are so bad it's insane.

You will want one fan to be intake more than the outtake fans I.E 2 outtake 3 intake. Postive air pressure. It's good against dust build up.

The stock fans are fine however when I was still aircooling my H440 i used 7 fans. (6 Be quiet! Silent Wings 2 120mm and one 140mm. Btw great fans. You should consider them.

I'm pretty sure you the right way to do it is to fill your case with as many Noctua fans as you can. Right @Lays ?

What case are you using?

To maintain positive air pressure ~ have more intake fans than exhaust.

Ahhh the lovely decision to put a . in your name. LTT should have a warning about that :D Or maybe fix the issue.

I will buy the NZXT H440.

Do you think 2x140 in the front and 1x140 in the back will be enough for the Vapor X 290 and the Xeon 1231?

Yeah it will be more than enough... although AF140 isn't the best fan out there ~ if you can afford it ~ go for Noctua, Gentle Typhoon, Be Quiet or anything better than Corsair! :)
