need a PSU...with a catch

How is the PC Power and Cooling 600W? A little pricey, but better than voiding the warranty on an equally good PSU with a $5 can of spray paint.

http://pcpartpicker.com/part/fractal-design-power-supply-fdpsuts2w650w

Or maybe the Fractal Design Tesla R2 650W is a little more your speed.

so basically the problem is I am building a PC here very soon, my build theme is blue/white and....i cant seem to find and white PSU's that fit the 600W that i need I've seen like 1000W but that overkill and preferably semi or fully modular but if not i don't care, recommendations anyone? also considering just getting a black PSU then finding some special paint to paint it white and if someone has experience doing that please do recommend the paint you used, thank you in advance :) and my build is here  http://pcpartpicker.com/p/FZFtK8

The NZXT Hale82v2 isn't a good PSU, so I wouldn't recommend that.

The PC Power and Cooling Silencer MKIII is a solid budget unit. It's a Seasonic S12II / M12II Bronze unit (group-regulated 430-620w) internally.

The Fractal Design Tesla R2 is an DC-DC regulated ATNG build PSU. It provides better performance electrically as well as should run more quiet than the PCP&C unit.

Exactly why I kept that Hale out :)

The SSP-550RT would be better: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/seasonic-power-supply-ssp550rt

Yeah but it is not exactly white either. The design is extremely generic, the cabling looks terrible and in the end, OP would end up modding it anyways.

@atrash Ah yes, Superflower's unique aesthetic. What's with the ports on some of their PSUs?

IDK. They call them 'Advanced Aviation Plug'. I guess they want that beefy industrial look + extra durable connectors. Some of their psu even lights up at the ports.

I would go with the White Superflower above. Just check it fits in the case (It should do) as they are pretty long units if I recall, something like 200mm.

If you want to paint any component have you considered plasti-dip ? Much better than paint as you can peel it off if you change your mind.
