No no, the CPU cables are labeled "CPU" and the GPU cables "VGA" ...... do *not* think they're the same just because they have the same plugs kinda...

While they may look the same, the 4, 4+4 or 8 pin EPS connector is for the CPU, while the 6+2 or 8 pin PCIe connector is for the GPU.

 

Unless you're doing extreme overclocking using just 4 pins for the CPU is generally fine. But you can't use the remaining 4 pin for the GPU.

 

For the GPU you should either have an 8 pin or a 6+2 pin PCIe connector that can be used either as a 6 pin or 8 pin, depending on what you GPU needs.

 

If there are too few cables, see if you can order some more from your PSU manufacturer.

 

Alternatively, you could order some from a third party. But make sure they are compatible with your specific PSU.

 

The pinout on the PSU side is not guaranteed to be cross-compatible between different brands. Using the wrong cables can damage your GPU
