So... long story short my GPU&CPU got broken and i rocking now old&buggy a4-6300 and iGPU/AGU, and since i not gona get funds for GPU asap i asked AI to do not only my CPUs list but an breakdown of all amd CPUs , but i not sure about accuracy or any notes, so...

I wana you all to give some insights, and maybe you will even force me into switching to newer gen/change motherboard/socket/generation

Well, there's your problem :old-eyeroll:  Try something smarter, like your own brain. (hint: search engine, query "amd cpu wiki" 👍)

I sorta don't have time to analyze spreadsteats or make notes so yes, i sometimes use AI for non-hard tasks wich is hard to fail

socket FM2, so thats your key piece of information for general support
Check your motherboard model for its list of explicitly supported CPUs.

IMO, I dont know if I would put money into that PC, but I understand not being in a financial situation where you can do a new build.

You don't have to do that lol

Just look up what your socket is

then look up the best CPU for that socket. Done

Computer hardware is not nearly as complicated as it looks and every time I look up computer hardware with AI, it's almost always wrong. AI cannot tell right from wrong and you should NEVER use it to justify a purchase, especially a big one. AI hurts you more than it helps, stop using it for bullshit it's not meant for

This is your ask of AI?

"so.. CPU socket and it's CPUs prices... fm/fm2+ while does max have 4 cores it ain't costs more than 4000 rub for a10 CPUs wich is top of it's socket...
I wana you to go over all AMD CPUs and make me spreadsheet, socket and then at least 4 CPUs for it with model name and price, models to be selected are "cheapest", "priciest", "most perfomanse" (maybe some extra instructions wich allow better cycles) and "most common" (or midrange of it's socket ?)"

That is so chaotic and random.  Like "extra instructions ... better cycles"?  What does that even mean?

Keep it simpler and ask like this.  The info has been presented already many many times, it's easy to digest if you don't go asking about tangential stuff.

Sounds like prompt issues rather than AI issues, as other have pointed.

Also this.

I've gotten to know some stuff, but am far from omniscient, so don't take my advice as gospel and wait for other opinions - I just like throwing in my two cents when I can.

Anyway you have a fm2 apu you can get a quad core but well they cost a surprising amount of money and are just awfull. A cheap 50$ 3rd gen i5 office pc is WAY faster than the best chip the socket has and is older than those.

If you need a faster pc for generic web browsing just spend 100$ on like an intel 8th gen or newer office computer. Its faster than the best this socket has and costs less for an entire pc!

Oh and for cpu compatibility you can just go to the manufacturers website of the board and they have a list right there for you!

another thing to note is not all motherboards work with all cpus some like serten chip sets. so can we list the fastest fm2 cpu is it compatible who knows... the fastest will cost the most probably more then a newer system.

what are you doing on it?

what is the budget?

I have dyslexia plz be kind to me. dont like my post dont read it or respond thx

also i edit post alot because you no why...
